A Message From Our Founder

As the Founder and Executive Director of My Daily Armor Ministries, I’m constantly looking for innovative ways to meet our goals and get the word out about the work we are blessed with in different parts of the world. My Daily Armor Ministries began on January 21st, 2013, with the goal of reaching as many Christians as possible with encouraging words, daily bible verses, and uplifting devotionals (My Daily Armor).

Since that time, and with God’s incredible blessings, we have continued to expand our ministry and now support vulnerable, orphaned, and abandoned children internationally through the development of significant infrastructure projects like our Medical Clinic in Haiti, our King Jesus Village in Ghana, West Africa, and our Children’s Home in India (Amazing Orphans International).

Additionally, our (Jonny’s Wagon) outreach, led by our Jr. Leadership Team, helps feed and care for our communities in need through our ongoing efforts to reduce food insecurity in the US.

We are a Christian organization supplying humanitarian relief efforts across the globe.

Our Family Background

For more than 32 years, I worked in some form of IT, doing desktop support to leading large-scale projects for some of the largest corporations in America, including Ford Motor Company, and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. In 2017, I was blessed with the opportunity to take early retirement, giving me the freedom to devote the rest of my life to serving those in need.

I have an amazing wife without whom our ministry would not be possible, and two gorgeous daughters who graduated from the University of Louisville Nursing School as RNs. Our oldest is a travel nurse who, like her dad, travels the world and now lives in Cambridge, UK. Our youngest is also a nurse working in bone marrow transplant.

Our family regularly attends Southeast Christian Church here in Louisville, KY, where I have been blessed to serve as an usher and a men’s accountability group leader. I’ve also had the privilege of serving with the backstage crew of the Southeast Easter Pageant, one of the country’s largest Easter productions that reached nearly a million people over the course of its lifetime.

In my spare time, I look for adventure. I’ve soloed Cessna aircraft and even became a certified (BFI) flight instructor on Powered Parachutes. I traveled to the other side of the world — Nepal — to trek to Everest Base Camp, and I’ve had the opportunity to safari in the Serengeti and to successfully summit Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, where the seed was planted for our Amazing Orphans International outreach.

I also enjoy flying my drone and love to go fishing with my family and friends every chance I get. I’m an avid BBQ Pitmaster, and I recently received my certification with the KCBS “The Kansas City BBQ Association” as a BBQ Judge where I met Famous Dave himself!

I have been blessed with travel into more than 16 countries, many of which are directly related to my ministry work through our Amazing Orphans International outreach, including Tanzania, Ghana, Haiti, Uganda, India, Nepal, and Panama.

I do my best to wake up every morning in anticipation of where God will be leading me on that particular day. He points; I go!

“A hundred years from now, I want people to look back at the work we’re doing today, as first steps towards building the greatest Christian humanitarian relief ministry the world has ever known.”

God Moves In Uganda

“God Moves In Uganda” Looking back now, I can’t say that I recall the specific moment that God placed Uganda on my heart, only that He had done so prior to my visit with my friend Denise. As is often the case for me, God moves in my heart long before I see why He has...

“A Christmas Miracle” A Budget Shortfall  As we entered the 2019 Christmas season, I was anything but joyous. For months I had seen it coming but December was here now, and our ministry was facing a $6000.00 budget shortfall going into 2020.  People We Love Were...

“A Gift From God” In the summer of 2010, I was preparing for one of the hardest things I would ever attempt to accomplish, a 100km bike ride in support of “The Ride to Conquer Cancer” for Norton’s Cancer Institute (as a tribute to my mom). Something would happen on...
