A Message From Our Founder
As the Founder and Executive Director of My Daily Armor Ministries, I am constantly seeking innovative ways to fulfill the mission God has placed before us, sharing hope, encouragement, and tangible help with people around the world.
My Daily Armor Ministries began on January 21, 2013, with a simple but powerful goal: to reach as many believers as possible with encouraging words, daily Bible verses, and uplifting devotionals. What started as a digital outreach has grown, by God’s grace, into something far greater.
Today, through Amazing Orphans International, we support vulnerable, orphaned, and abandoned children around the world by developing life-changing infrastructure projects. These include a Medical Clinic in Haiti, King Jesus Village in Ghana, West Africa, and a Children’s Home in India, each designed to provide not only physical care, but hope, dignity, and a future.
Here at home in the United States, our Jonny’s Wagon outreach, led by our Junior Leadership Team, serves individuals and families facing food insecurity by providing meals, care, and compassion to communities in need.
At our core, we are a Christian humanitarian organization, meeting physical needs while pointing people to the hope found in Jesus Christ.
Our Family Background
For more than 32 years, I worked in the IT field, ranging from desktop support to leading large-scale projects for some of the largest corporations in America, including Ford Motor Company and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. In 2017, I was blessed with the opportunity to take early retirement, allowing me to devote the rest of my life fully to serving others.
I am married to an incredible wife, without whom this ministry simply would not be possible. We have two amazing daughters, both graduates of the University of Louisville Nursing School and registered nurses. Our oldest is a travel nurse who, like her dad, has a heart for the world and currently lives in Cambridge, UK. Our youngest serves closer to home, working in bone marrow transplant care.
Our family attends Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, Kentucky, where I have been blessed to serve as an usher, men’s accountability group leader, and small-group leader. I’ve also had the privilege of serving on the backstage crew of the Southeast Easter Pageant, one of the largest Easter productions in the country, reaching nearly a million people over its lifetime.
A Life of Faith and Adventure
In my spare time, I look for adventure. I’ve soloed Cessna aircraft and became a certified Powered Parachute Flight Instructor. I’ve trekked to Everest Base Camp in Nepal, gone on safari in the Serengeti, and successfully summited Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, where the seed was planted for what would become Amazing Orphans International.
I also enjoy flying my drone, fishing with family and friends, and spending time around a smoker or grill. I’m an avid BBQ pitmaster and recently became a certified judge with the Kansas City BBQ Society (KCBS) where I even had the chance to meet Famous Dave himself.
I’ve been blessed to travel to more than 16 countries, many directly connected to our ministry work, including Tanzania, Ghana, Haiti, Uganda, India, Nepal, and Panama.
Following Where God Leads
I do my best to wake up every morning asking one simple question:
“Where are we going today, God?”

God Moves In Uganda
“God Moves In Uganda” Looking back now, I can’t say that I recall the specific moment that God placed Uganda on my heart, only that He had done so prior to my visit with my friend Denise. As is often the case for me, God moves in my heart long before I see why He has...
A Christmas Miracle
“A Christmas Miracle” A Budget Shortfall As we entered the 2019 Christmas season, I was anything but joyous. For months I had seen it coming but December was here now, and our ministry was facing a $6000.00 budget shortfall going into 2020. People We Love Were...
A Gift From God
“A Gift From God” In the summer of 2010, I was preparing for one of the hardest things I would ever attempt to accomplish, a 100km bike ride in support of “The Ride to Conquer Cancer” for Norton’s Cancer Institute (as a tribute to my mom). Something would happen on...
